Description
SOUL’s valved exhaust for non-NPP C8 Corvettes adds two usable sound modes, mild and wild, to cars that left the factory without the bi-modal NPP exhaust. With the valves closed, exhaust runs through a bespoke SOUL chambered muffler with an internal X-pipe, which SOUL chose over a perforated core design for a more aggressive sound with fewer unwanted tones. With the valves open, flow exits through 3 in piping for a thunderous roar, while secondary flow through the muffler and X-pipe smooths rasp for a higher pitched, more refined note. The valves can be remote controlled or programmed to the car’s factory home controls, per SOUL. AFM valve deletes are included, and the system is wrapped in form-fitting PTP Lava heat blankets.

Good to know
- For cars without the factory NPP exhaust only. Check your car’s build sheet before ordering.
- SOUL notes that an AFM check engine light code may appear after fitting an aftermarket rear exhaust to a C8; a dealer may need to recalibrate the AFM codes, which SOUL says takes about 15 minutes.
- SOUL publishes no emissions statement or CARB EO number for this system; check local emissions and noise rules before fitting.
