Description
The SOUL valved exhaust gives the 2020 onward Audi R8 two distinct characters at the press of a button. With the valves open, exhaust flows through 3 in piping for a full V10 roar, while secondary flow through the muffler and X-pipe smooths rasp for a higher pitched, more refined note. With the valves closed, flow runs through a bespoke SOUL chambered muffler with an internal X-pipe for a quieter cabin with minimal drone. The system weighs 34.8 lb against 68.9 lb for the factory exhaust, per SOUL, and is designed and built in-house in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
