Description
The SOUL valved exhaust for the 992.1 911 Carrera turns up the volume over the factory sport exhaust while keeping the tone refined. The factory valves open and close progressively rather than simply on or off, and do not stay fully open even at full throttle in Sport mode, so SOUL tuned the system for a smooth transition at every valve position. A bespoke X-pipe muffler with straight-through perforated cores and an internal X-pipe targets drone in the 2,000 to 2,400 rpm range and brings out a higher pitched note with the valves open or closed. With the valves open, exhaust flows through 3 in piping and an X-pipe, while a secondary path through the muffler keeps the sound full.
